Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

All sales made through this website are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or order cancellations. This applies to all original artworks, limited editions, and print reproductions, including items produced to order.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, goods that are made to order, customised, or created with individual artistic input are exempt from the standard right to cancel. Most works sold on this site fall within these exemptions.

Damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery at shop@booillustrations.com.

You must include your order number and clear photographs of the damage and all packaging materials.

Where damage or error is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with UK consumer law. Remedies may include a replacement (where possible) or a refund if a replacement cannot be provided.

Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Non-returnable items

Returns and refunds are not accepted for:

  • Original artworks
  • Limited edition prints
  • Printed-to-order reproductions
  • Any item produced specifically for your order

These items are exempt from cancellation rights as they are created individually or customised for each customer.

Lost shipments

If a parcel is delayed or appears lost, we will open a claim with the courier or Royal Mail. A replacement or resolution will only be provided once the investigation has concluded and loss is confirmed.

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

We are not responsible for orders that cannot be delivered due to incomplete or inaccurate address information supplied at checkout.

Refunds are not provided in these circumstances, and reshipment may incur additional costs.
